Are You Ready for the
39th Annual Fall Muster at Beauvoir?
October 17-19, 2025

During the annual Fall Muster reenactment at Beauvoir, visitors will experience the sights, sounds and smells of the War Between the States era. This event is held the Third Weekend in October each year. Be sure to continue to check this page for updates! You can also visit Beauvoir, The Jefferson Davis Home and Presidential Library on Facebook to follow the planning progression.  

 

The event always hosts a school day on Friday for elementary through high school aged students (grades 4 and up). Public schools, private schools and home schooled students are encouraged to attend. On Saturday and Sunday, there is a battle reenactment at 2pm each day along with other fun activities scheduled throughout the weekend.  

 

Come out and watch history come to life and walk in the path of your ancestors.

Step Back in Time at the 39th Annual Fall Muster!

Join us for one of the South’s most beloved living history events — Beauvoir’s 39th Annual Fall Muster! Experience life in the 1860s with battle reenactments, living history camps, authentic sutlers, food, and fun for the whole family.

 

Weekend Highlights Include:

• Battle Reenactments — Saturday & Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Feel the BOOM as cannons shake the ground!

• Turkey Shoot — Test your aim and win prizes!

• Small Muster — Hands-on activities and up-close demonstrations of soldier life.

• Behind the Rifle Book Booth — Meet author Shelby Harriel-Hidlebaugh and get your signed copy!

• Camp Social featuring The McCoy Sisters & Johnny Rawls — Live music and good company under the stars.

• Ladies’ Tea — A graceful gathering celebrating Southern tradition.

• Tophats Volunteer Fire Department — Keeping the fun safe and spirits high!

• Tophat Sutlery — Explore handcrafted goods, clothing, and relics.

• Confederate Sausage Dogs

• Hamburgers & Hotdogs

• Boiled Peanuts

• Nachos

• Sweet Treats & Desserts

Tickets & Info:

Schedules will be posted online Friday. Tickets are Adults 18+: $20 daily, $30 weekend pass. Kids 6-17: $7 daily, $10 weekend pass. Kids 5 & under: FREE
